BatteryPack FE
BatteryPacks

BatteryPack FE stands for "Full Electric" and is a battery system for an industrial machine, temporarily supplying it with power when it is disconnected from the public power grid for a short period of time.
BatteryPack FE can supply up to 60 kWh of energy and up to 112 kW of power.
Typical applications are E-RTG-cranes, which are connected to the public power grid via conductor rail or cable reel during normal operation. The Battery Pack FE supplies power to the machine only when the machine disconnects from the grid, e.g. during transferring from one container line to the next.
Using several battery modules, the system can be easily scaled in size. Via an auxiliary DC/DC converter, Battery Pack FE delivers a stabilized DC voltage (up to 780 V DC) to the common DC bus of the machine.
The DC/DC converter is acting as a battery charger as well, when the machine is connected back to the public power grid. Alternatively, the batteries can also be re-charged via an additional AC/DC charger.
BatteryPack FE contains all the necessary components. The individual battery modules (active air-cooled), a Battery Management System (BMS) to supervise all battery safety relevant data, an Energy Management System, an AC unit for heating and cooling of the battery house, and a PLC system for an easy interfacing to the machine.
A touch panel visualizes all relevant data to the operator.
All components are installed in a robust and customized housing, which can be either fixed to the machine or be moveable for remote charging.
Remote supervision through cloud service is available as an option for safety relevant data.
